In Loving Memory
Lohn, a disciple of Jesus Christ, walked with the Lord throughout his well- lived life on this earth and by His grace was able to love others in a way that gave testimony of the Lord's goodness and mercy. Lohn loved well.
His beloved Mary was more precious to him than any other; his wife, his place of refuge and comfort, his best friend. During their 42 years of marriage, Lohn would remind her often of his place as the luckiest man in the world and that he cherished her being at his side. She was his; a precious gift from the Lord for journeying through this life.
Lohn delighted in his daughters: Jessi Sieczkowski, Jennifer Curtis, and Jandi Phillips. He knew each of them uniquely and loved them unconditionally, continuing to tend to their hearts years after he graciously gave them away. Lohn transitioned from dad to papa seamlessly. He traveled to his daughters' homes and poured himself out for their families, invested in his sons (Joshua, Dustin, and Jerrin) and was larger than life to his grandchildren (Lanée Owens, Hayden Cleve, Braydon Sieczkowski, Megan Sieczkowski, Emma Curtis, Lucas Stafford, Emma Belle Phillips, Jaxon Phillips, and Ella Gärdqvist). His quiver was full.
Lohn's parents, Robert "Bob" and Vella Owens, were his example for loving and fearing the Lord, and were foundational to his faith. He cherished his time with them both, treasuring opportunities to honor and care for them. His siblings: Linda Owens, Larry Owens (wife: Debora), and Lisa Burt (husband: Eric) were precious to him. Lohn leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces, and a multitude of young men and women who saw him as a father.
Lohn loved deeply and genuinely, and will be missed by all who knew him.
Lohn took ownership in 2003 as the 2nd generation as his father, Robert Owens, retired. Lohn has an installation background, beginning in 1977 when Right Carpet & Interiors first opened. His installation knowledge is all flooring products, including carpet, vinyl, tile, hardwood, laminate, and many others. With his strong installation background, Lohn has a great connection with our contractors, architects, and installers for each project, with excellent knowledge of realistic expectations for each project. Lohn works directly in the field with on-site projects and estimating but is diversified within the store and on the showroom floor. His passion for mechanics led him to bring several lines of stoves and fireplaces to the company.
